Make your first card
- Open Studio and choose an original template or Start a blank card.
- Use Words for your heading and message, Event for date and place, Style for the design, and Photo for an image you select.
- Wait for Saved on this device. Open Preview & export and review the design and output dimensions.
- Create PNG or PDF, then Save a copy, Share file or Open in another app.
My latest changes have not saved
Keep the app open. Free device storage and use Retry save. Do not clear app storage while trying to recover unsaved work.
A photo or preview is unavailable
Open the card's Photo panel and replace or remove the photo. Try a smaller supported image if memory is limited. Selecting a replacement leaves the original source file unchanged.
How do I print at the selected size?
Create a PDF and open it in a compatible viewer. Print at Actual size or 100%, rather than Fit to page. Check the paper size and preview first. Printer margins and colors vary. The dashed 6%-of-width guide is not included in exported files.
How do I keep a backup?
In Settings, choose Save library backup and select a trusted destination. A backup includes cards, Trash and referenced photos. Before restoring, review the import summary; Restore copies adds new cards without replacing existing drafts. Backups are not password-encrypted by Merripaper.
Can I recover or permanently remove a card?
Restore a card from Settings → Trash. Empty Trash permanently removes its records from the library. Save a backup first if you might need them. Copies already exported or shared are unchanged.
My library reached its limit
The library holds up to 200 cards including Trash. Save a backup, move unwanted cards to Trash and empty Trash to make room. A backup can contain up to 64MB; reduce referenced photo content if the complete library exceeds that limit.
Where are my files?
Drafts stay in app-private storage. Exported copies are in the destination you selected through Android. A sharing app may keep a separate copy. Make a backup before uninstalling Merripaper or clearing its storage.
